Facing the Enemy

Just so well done! The cover pulls me in immediately. I most definitely judge books by the cover! It has perfect amounts of intrigue, romance and mystery! And Harry was so swoony!

Anyone else judge book covers? Guilty. This was a great suspense book. Romance books tend to have perfect main characters. Perfect bodies, no flaws, say the exact right thing. I loved this one because that wasn’t the case. Elise and Harry each had their obstacles to overcome. They had demons and mistakes they’ve made in the past.

It took more than a smolder to fall for the other. Sure, there was the attraction, but they had hang ups. It wasn’t immediate. They each had their past they needed to come to terms with.

And the suspense. I LOVED having chapters from the villains perspective. It was a nice addition you don’t get to see so much! Overall, so good! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
